Grand Slam-chasing Wales saw off a spirited challenge from Scotland this afternoon to move into a commanding position in this year’s Six Nations tournament.
The mighty Welsh dominated throughout the entire game and even allowed Scotland to score some points to make the game more interesting.
Speaking after the game, the Welsh team’s spokesperson, Thomas ‘Thomas’ Thomas, told WalesOnCraic:
“Well obviously the lads went out there today and obviously all credit to the Irish; we always said that they were going to be a tough team and obviously, we were lucky that that Irish lad got sent off and obviously I told the lads just to go out there and to enjoy themselve and I think that’s what they did and obviously, we’re going to take the positives of the game and move forward and we could have scored more points but we didn’t but obviously, we’ve still got more to work on and obviously, so yeah.”
Wales now have two weeks off to catch up on Coronation Street and for cups of tea.
