An electrician from Treherbert has put himself forward to fix the newly-announced ‘circuit-breaker’ for £50 cash.

Darren Dullard said that he fixes circuit-breakers all the time and would even waive his usual call-out fee of £700.

He told WalesOnCraic:

“I heard something on the news today about this circuit-breaker. As soon as I heard the news, I was on the blower to Mark, telling him that I can fix his for £50 cash. I does them all the time. I was doing one only last night up in Penrhys for this old bird. Mark said he’d get back to me but I’ve not heard anything yet. Apparently, they’ve got them circuit-breakers going on all over Wales so if I can’t do it, I can get one of my butties to have a look at it.”

Wales announced the circuit-breaker to try and slow the spread of the virus. Critics have pointed out that there are more deaths from cancer than there are Covid.

“I don’t get it. Why are we shutting down when there are more people dying from cancer?” said Terry Fuckwit as he coughed up a lump of lung butter.
