Rather breezy up north and over to the west with a mix of sunny spells and showers to keep you on your toes. Elsewhere, a touch more sunshine, which at this time of year means it’ll be a bit more parky. A cold start for most places. Maximum temperature of 12°C.

Down on the farm, Farmer Honey accidentally let off £3,000 worth of fireworks last night while he was testing for the big night on Bonfire Night. He’s now got to spend another £3,000 on replacement fireworks but at least he now knows not to go using a lighter to read the instructions in the dark.
