Wales donate second win to Ireland out of pity

Wales have donated a second win to Ireland in order to make the men in green feel better about themselves.

Ireland could only manage third place in this year’s Six Nations and Wales were ordered to gift Ireland a second win this afternoon to put a smile on their faces.

A spokesman for Welsh rugby said:

“Well obviously the lads went out there today and I told them to enjoy themselves and obviously the boys went out there and gave 100% and obviously we’ll take the positives from the game and move on to the next game. Obviously, the lads were disappointed with the loss but we all knew we could have beaten them if we’d wanted to. We just felt sorry for the Irish as they’ve not been very good lately and as we’re all Celtic cousin, we thought we’d put a smile on their little green faces.”

Wales have gifted Ireland and England wins over the last few weeks.

“We’re a generous team by nature so we don’t mind giving away a few wins to make people feel better about themselves,” he added.
