Dominic Cummings starts new career as coach driver to Barnard Castle

Ousted government adviser Dominic Cummings has started a new career as a coach driver to Barnard Castle.

Cummings will be ferrying people with poor eyesight to the castle so that they can visit the opticians there.

A spokesman for Downing Street said:

“Dominic has gone for good. He wanted to complete his HGV licence before leaving so that he could get straight into coach driving. He’s joined an undisclosed tour operator and has been given a lovely 1980 Leyland to use. From what we understand, he’ll be carrying passengers with poor eyesight so Barnard Castle, a world-renowned leader in eyesight repair. He’ll be taking his family with him and giving press conferences along the way.”

One pensioner, who has spoken to WalesOnCraic said:

“I’ve never been to Barnard Castle before. I’ll look forward to seeing what all the fuss is about if I can see it.”
