England coach Eddie Jones will be starting a new job on Monday – as a Greggs sales assistant.
Jones will take up his new position after mighty Wales put England to the sword to win the Triple Crown in this year’s Six Nations tournament.
A spokesman for Mr Jones told WalesOnCraic:
“Eddie has been looking for alternative employment since the start of this year’s Six Nations. His England team looked for all the world like they could have a good tournament this year but they hadn’t counted on Wales being gifted two tries from the French referee in the first half of this year’s clash. Eddie has therefore decided to call it a day on coaching England and will receive a week’s training on the tills before being allowed to serve delights such as Steak Bakes, Sausage rolls and cheese and onion pasties.”
Wales now top this year’s Six Nations table and have the chance of securing another Grand Slam if they can beat Italy and France in the final two weeks of the tournament.
