A Bridgend woman has bought 700 pints of milk in case she runs out on Christmas Day.
Mother of two, Daisy Bellend, bought the 700 pints in Tesco last night. She also bought 300 loaves of bread.
She told WalesOnCraic:
“I always fear the worst when it comes to bread and milk, especially on Christmas Day. My husband Jim likes to have a milky coffee once he’s got his leg over which is an annual tradition we partake every Christmas morning. His mother sometimes comes around after dinner and if she has more tea than she normally does, I could find myself short. I think I’ll be ok with 700 pints but I think the Spar is open down the road, just in case.”
Daisy is keeping the 700 pints of milk in her garage.
“I’m hoping the mice don’t get at it. I’ve paid for all of the milk and if they think that they can help themselves to my milk, they can f*ck right off.”
