Men in Wales are to receive free online courses so that they can learn how to load diswashers correctly.
Men are inherently born without the ability to load a dishwasher effectively, and have to be taught how to do so by women.
Course leader Sheila ShinyMugs told WalesOnCraic:
“Households all over the world have always struggled with the male attempts to load a dishwasher. It’s become bit of a long-running joke but for the millions of us that have to live with the consequences, it’s no laughing matter. Dried on cornflakes, greasy pans – these are the things of nightmares. I have trained my husband to thoroughly rinse the dishes before he even puts them in the dishwasher. Even so, he still doesn’t get the placements right. We are delighted to be offering these courses as a world first, here in Wales. We hope that it will help make the world a better place to live and wash dishes.”
One student said that he hoped it would lead to a closer relationship with his wife.
“We used to have nookie every Friday night after Graham Norton but that’s all gone to pot since I started loading the dishwasher incorrectly. I’m hoping to get my end away sooner rather than later so I’m hoping that this course can help.”
