Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield ‘not welcome at Alton Towers’

TV presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield have been told that they won’t be welcome at Alton Towers after being accused of jumping the queue to see Queen Elizabeth II lying in state.

The fun-loving morning presenters have been told that their fame won’t gift them any preferential queue treatment at the Staffordshire theme park.

Ethel Wetcleft of the Alton Towers visitors Association told WalesOnCraic:

“While people like David Beckham queued for 92 hours in the howling winter weather like the rest of us, Holly and Phillip think that they can simply turn up, show their faces, and walk to the front of the queue. This won’t happen at Alton Towers. We’ve got a dedicated team that goes around publicly shaming queue jumpers and pointing at them. Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield will not be welcome at Alton Towers unless he brings Gordon the Gopher because I loved Gordon as a kid and always wanted to meet him.”

Other celebrities have joined the 42 mile queue to see the Queen’s coffin, which is available to look at on TV around the clock.
