Those hoping for a Bank Holiday barbeque on Monday are likely to be disappointed, say weather experts, as rain moves into Wales.
Forecasters say that it’s going to piss down all day this Bank Holiday Monday, meaning that any planned barbeques are likely to go tits up.
Welsh weather legend Derek the Weathersheep told WalesOnCraic:
“In true traditional Bank Holiday style, it’s going to absolutely piss down all day. Anyone thinking of having a few drinks in the garden can go whistle as we’ve got shitloads of rain moving into Wales. With a 96% chance of rain all over the place, you’re probably best off just staying in bed until the Summer.”
Strong winds are also expected to pick up, to add to the stormy and gloomy outlook.
“If you’ve got any empty wheelie bins, they’re likely to get blown over too,” added Derek.
Bank Holidays are traditionally celebrated in the rain in Wales.
