UK Government to arrange piss-up in a brewery

The UK Government is planning to arrange a piss-up in a brewery to celebrate its recent mini-budget.

Government ministers are hoping to celebrate winning their recent bets on the pound burning and crashing.

A spokesman for Downing Street told WalesOnCraic:

“We believe that this government is bold and brave in what it’s doing. It looks like we’re trashing the UK economy but the fact is, we’re just lending more and more to pay for the tax cuts we’ve been promising our wealthy mates for a long, long time. The trickle-down economy that we’re looking to build will eventually see the poorest of people becoming super-rich and we’ll all love Liz for what she’s done. We believe that we need a piss-up to celebrate this achievement.”

The venue for the piss-up has been moved from a nearby Wetherspoons pub, following news that it is set to close due to ‘economic reasons’.

“We was going to head to the local ‘Spoons but they can’t get the cheap foreign staff any more so we’re going to head to a brewery instead. What could possibly go wrong?”
