No.10 to hold leaving party for Allegra Stratton

Boris Johnson’s former press secretary is set to be given a leaving party at 10 Downing Street later this month.

Allegra Stratton is currently still recovering from the injuries sustained when the Prime Minister threw her under the proverbial bus.

A spokesman for No.10 told WalesOnCraic:

“We might be and we might not be having a party for Allegra at Downing Street and if we do have a party, it won’t be a real party, it’ll just be a gathering of people, having fun, drinking, swapping gifts and dancing to shit music. We usually call these parties but in this case, it won’t be a party. Allegra has been an outstanding press secretary but someone’s got to take the hit to save Boris so it’ll be her and we’ll be having a leaving party for her, except it won’t be a leaving party – it’ll just be a gathering of people, having fun, drinking, swapping gifts and dancing to shit music. Which won’t of course, happen. But if it does, it’ll all be within the constraints of the new lockdown measures in England. Which don’t count for us because we do what we want.”

The leaving party is set to take place after the Cabinet’s official Christmas party, which may or not be taking place before Ms Stratton’s leaving party.
