A Welsh adult movie has been banned after accusations that it falsley depicts a plumber turning up when he said he would.
In the film, ‘Big’ Bob the Builder arrives at the house with his massive tool when he said he would, which is unrealistic, say film censors.
Film director Ken Perv told WalesOnCraic:
“I spent my entire life savings making this film and to have it banned by some snobbish film censors has destroyed my life. My whole career, I’ve wanted to make romantic movies like this. And now I might have to go back to my previous job at Kwik Save because this has brought my reputation into disrepute.
“We all like a bit of escapism from time to time and including a plumber turning up on time was my way of facilitating that. To have the film pulled because of this is a disgrace.”
The film - called Debbie Does Dowlias - was only recently launched on Betamax, but staff at local Blockbuster stores were spotted pulling copies from the shelves yesterday.
Blockbuster employee Sheila Largecalves said:
“We was told to take them all off the shelves so that’s what we did. Don’t tell anyone this but I kept a few copies for myself. I’ve always wanted to see what it’s like to have a plumber turn up on time. It’s my biggest fantasy.”
Mr Perv is expected to appeal the decision once he’s finished completing on another film that involves electricians.
