Sunday drivers across Wales are staging a go-slow protest today to protest at the dangerously high speed limits in Wales.
A handful of weekend-only drivers say that the speed limits in Wales are currently too high.
Group leader Sid Drysack told WalesOnCraic:
“I only drives at weekends because I like to sit at home for the rest of the week. I went out last Sunday and found it extremely overwhelming and had to come home and watch re-runs of Heartbeat to calm me down. It was like a race track out there.
“I phoned my friend Eric who agreed that the speed limits in Wales are too high. We decided that we had to make a stand against it so we thought we’d go out on Sunday and drive even slower than we normally do. It’s give us a chance to catch up with friends and it also sends an important message to those in charge.”
The go-slow protest is set to leave Kwik Save car park in Swansea at 6pm this evening.
“We’ll show them that we’re not to be messed with,” added Sid. “Fancy a Wether’s Original?”
