The ghost of a Corona pop lorry was spotted driving around the Welsh valleys last night.
The apparition made residents think that Corona pop lorries had made a welcome return to Welsh streets.
Eyewitness Glenda Gonad told WalesOnCraic:
“I’d popped out to the local Kwik Save to get myself some bleach because my husband had blocked the toilet and there was a hell of a mess. On my way back, I was crossing the road when I saw this lorry heading towards me. It was totally silent so at first, I thought it was one of those electric lorries but then when I looked again, I realised it was a Corona lorry.
“I thought to myself ‘well, I haven’t seen one of those in a long time’ and then it sailed right past me in total silence. No engine noise. No jangling of the bottles. Nothing. I was so surprised that I dropped my bleach - and that was a shame because it was one of their special limited editions mulled wine fragrance.”
Mrs Gonad said the lorry disappeared down the street and then vanished.
“I couldn’t believe my eyes. I’d read about this sort of thing happening in Woman’s WEely but to see it happening in front of me was crazy. The worst part was that I was in the mood for some cream soda pop but I couldn’t get any because the lorry never stopped.”
Similar sightings were reported in the area around the same time.
“I went home and got absolutely shitfaced,” said Mrs Gonad. “It had blown my mind!”
