Former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has started his new job at Greggs in Maesteg, following his recent dismissal from the Labour Party.
Corbyn was spotted selling steak bakes and sausage rolls in his new role as sales assistant.
An eyewitness told WalesOnCraic:
“I went in for a chocolate flake fancy because my husband likes one of those after he’s given me a good tromboning. This guy started serving me and I couldn’t quite place where I’d seen him before. At first, I thought it was Timothy Claypole from Rentaghost but then one of the other members of staff mentioned him by name and the penny dropped. I asked him how he was but he mumbled something about CND and gave me my chocolate flake fancy.”
Corbyn was dismissed from the Labour Party by Kier ‘The Terminator’ Starmer earlier today.
