Office workers across Wales are set to benefit from free on-tap Prosecco while they work.
The installation of the Prosecco vending machines are expected to improve productivity by up to 3,000%, according to the manufacturer.
Office boss Simon Sideways told WalesOnCraic:
“We often goes down the pub at lunchtimes and gets shitfaced and that’s no good for our productivity. I was down the pub last night and a friend of mine said that his office had started introducing Prosecco vending machines, as opposed to those boring water ones. Apparently, everyone got on really well and everyone had a right laugh.
“It’s exactly that kind of atmos we need here in our office so I’ve spoken to our big boss and he’s ordered a load of vending machines. We’ll be installing them in offices across Wales from next week and I’ve also been speaking to people in Welsh government who said that they like the idea too because they like to drink.”
The new vending machines will be installed throughout the next month and aims to raise morale among staff.
“We had been in our office last Christmas and alcohol does wonders to lift the spirits of the workforce. It only took two beers and a Babycham for Brenda from accounts to get on the table and get her baps out and that’s exactly the kind of bants we needs in our modern offices,” added Sideways.
