People across the globe are signing a popular petition that’s calling for 2025 to be ended early.
The petition calls for governments to ‘call it a year already’, shortening 2025 by several months.
Terry Tightarse, who created the petition, told WalesOnCraic:
“I always get excited on New Year’s Eve because I think the new year will bring better things to my life. Usually, about March time, I realise that that’s all a load of bollocks. And by the time we get to October, I just want to call time on the year.
“I created this petition to call on governments across the world to call an end to 2025. This will save many of us from the heartache of seeing the year out just for the sake of it. I’ll be quite happy for 2025 to end right here and to try again with a new year. So far, I’ve got 36 signatures and a few of my friends down The Albert said they’d sign it too so I’m hopeful.”
Government officials have been quick to piss all over Mr Tightarse’s petition.
“The guy’s talking out of his arsehole. We’ve still got over two months of the year to get through yet. Stop moaning and get it done.”
The year will officially end on New Year’s Eve this year.
