Jehovah’s Witnesses in Wales have said that they are looking to ban Trick or Treating this Halloween.
The religious organisation say knocking on people's doors and threatening them with hell should not be allowed.
Jehovah’s Witness boss Michael Sandalcreep told WalesOnCraic:
“God has spoken to us and He told us that it’s not right that people should be going around, knocking on people’s doors, and threatening them if the homeowner doesn’t conform to their way of thinking. These people are literally terrorising others in their own homes and it’s not right. It’s not what Jesus did because He liked to upturn tables instead, so we are not going to put up with this.”
The organisation has said that threatening people with fire and fury in their homes should not be tolerated.
“In this day and age, people should not have to hide behind their settees when they hear the door knock. We’d like to implement a nationwide ban to stop this kind of thing happening.”
Mr Sandalcreep added:
“Now if you don’t mind, we’re off to Asda to get some Christmas decorat…oh. Hang on. We don’t celebrate Christmas.”
