Members of an English family who were touring Wales mistook a bouncy castle for Castell Coch last week.

The family, who didn’t want to be indentified, spent at least three hours at the bouncy castle, taking photos and having lunch.

One eyewitness told WalesOnCraic:

“I live near Castell Coch and I’d hired this bouncy castle for my kid’s birthday. The party was over but I thought I’d leave it up overnight. Later that afternoon, I found a car parked outside my house and when I looked in my back garden, there was a family in there, eating cucumber sandwiches and taking photos of themselves with the castle.

“I asked them what the hell they thought there were doing and the they said that they were having lunch at Castle Cock. We got into a bit of an argument but in the end, I just let them carry on.”

Neighbours say the family finally left the bouncy castle before dark.

“I was glad to see them gone,” said one neighbour. “They were all talking in a funny accent and it was getting on my tits.”
