BBC to replace Masterchef with new Bap Wars show

The new show will focus on finding the best baps in the UK

The BBC is set to replace its flagship Masterchef show with a show that seeks to transform broadcasted culinary competitions forever.

Bap Wars will be a 24-episode show that aims to find the best baps in the country.

A spokesman from the BBC told WalesOnCraic:

“For 300 years now, Masterchef has dominated our TV screens but like all good things, they have to come to an end. Having discovered that our presenters have been very naughty boys, we’ll be looking to hire some squeaky clean hosts to find the UK’s best baps.

“Bap Wars will travel the length and the breadth of the UK to find the very best in bappage. It could be a bacon butty or a peanut butter and jelly bap. Are they crusty? Or are they soft white? Who knows? I can feel the excitement building inside me already. I would drop my trousers in excitement but I fear I may lose my job.”

The new format will include contestant pitted against each other in making baps. If no outright winner is declared, contestants will be asked to mud wrestle to find a winner.

“We take our shows very seriously and hope that this new format will inspire people all over the UK to get their baps out and show them off.”

The new show is expected to air in the autumn.
