The national rugby armchair coach of Wales has made a solemn vow to Wales this week.

Wales’s national armchair coach Dai Doublegunt has promised the Welsh public that Wales will not lose this weekend in the Six Nations, and still holds out hope of a surprise Grand Slam.

Doublegunt told WalesOnCraic:

“I can safely say that the boys are not going to lose this weekend. I’m going to put my house on it. In all the years of armchair coaching, I have never been so convinced that we’re not going to lose. The two opening games didn’t go as we wanted but we’re nearly there. Obviously the lads gave it 100% and I told them to just to go out there and to enjoy themselves. But you know, we take each game as it comes; we take the positives and we move on to the next game. We go again. We’re still hoping that we can sneak a surprise Grand Slam this year like we’ve done on so many other occassions when I have guided them to glory.”

Doublegunt has also commented on the recent threat by Welsh players to strike.

“It is what it is, butt. Woss all that about, anyway?”
