A woman has taken a jacket to the beach, even though she didn’t need one.
Gloria Flatface, 47, left Aberdare for Barry Island this morning.
She told WalesOnCraic:
“I was stood at the front door and I said to Len my husband, ‘Shall I take a jacket?’. He said it was up to me whether I took a jacket or not so I looked up at the sky to see what the weather was going to do. I couldn’t really tell because it was very sunny so I said to Len my husband, ‘I’ll take one anyway’. I took one anyway and it turns out that I didn’t need to take a jacket with me because it’s very sunny.”
Husband Len added:
“I told her that it was up to her whether she took a jacket out today. Obviously she brought one with her but we now find that it’s superfluous to our needs as it’s very sunny. We’ll keep it in the car anyway, just in case there’s a blizzard on the way home and we get stuck in a snow drift.
Gloria’s jacket is a 1992 denim item.
