A woman has spent five weeks moving house after she found a bag of old photos in her wardrobe.
Sheila Largecalves from Pencoed, was due to move house at the end of August. But after discovering a plastic bag of photos in her attic, the process has taken a lot longer.
She told WalesOnCraic:
“I thought it was just a bag of rubbish but when I looked, it was full of old photos. I couldn’t help but go through them all one by one. There were pictures of me with some really shitty hair-dos and then there were some photos of people who are no longer in my life. Then there were photos of my parents who are sadly no longer with me and then there were pictures of me with my baps out on a beach in Ibiza. I’ve spent the last five weeks in that attic looking at them all. They’re great.”
Husband Richard, who has already moved into the new home said:
“I’m loving this peace and quiet. I planned the house move meticulously. At first, I had all the bags and boxes labelled. By the end, I just chucked it all in bin bags. They’re still out in the hallway. I’m hoping that Sheila can come and join me before Christmas so I can show here all the old newspapers I’ve kept over the years.”
