Woman mutters ‘Ooo, it’s close innit?’ for the 745th time today

A woman from Barry has muttered about the weather being ‘close’ for the 745th time today.

Eileen Sweatycrack managed to repeat the same saying over 1,000 times yesterday.

She told WalesOnCraic:

“Ooo, it’s close innit? God. What we need is a good thunderstorm to clear the air. We was promised a load yesterday and we saw naff all. A good thunderstorm would clear the air. It’s really close innit? Like you can’t breathe. Can’t wait for the winter now.”

Husband Len said that her constant repetition of the phrase was driving him crazy.

“She said the same frigging thing over 1,000 times yesterday and I know that because I counted them. Yes, it’s ‘close’, yes we need a thunderstorm but there’s nothing I can do about it. She’s really going for a record today. It’s only just come up to lunchtime and she’s nearing 800 already.”

Eileen said that she hoped there’d be a thunderstorm soon to clear the air.

“Ooo, it’s close innit? God. What we need is a good thunderstorm to clear the air,” she said.
