Woman finds body of Christ in her Greggs sausage roll

A woman from Trehafod has claimed that she has found the body of Jesus Christ in her sausage roll.

Betty Wondergunt said that she was going to take a photo of the sausage roll but ate it instead.

She told WalesOnCraic:

“I always have a Greggs sausage roll for lunch, sometimes three at a time. I saw on the news the other day that Greggs had replaced baby Jesus with a sausage roll. Well I think I just found him. I was down town earlier getting some leccy on my card and I got myself a sausage roll for breakfast. As soon as I’d bitten into it, I just knew that it was the body of Christ. It was like he was speaking to me, from a sausage roll. I recognised that it was him because it tasted the same as the body of Christ that we haves in church. I felt like Paul on the road to Domestos. First thing I thought was that I should take a photo and send it to WalesOnline but I was so hungry that I just ate it. I feel very holy now.”

Staff at Betty’s local Greggs shop said that she’s known for finding celebrities in her food.

“Last week, she said that she’d found Shergar in her Steak Bake. Which was probably true,” said manager Martin Greaseball.
