A mother of two has been admitted to hospital after stepping barefoot on three Lego bricks.
Kathy TwoPorches stood on the bricks while looking after her two toddlers.
She told WalesOnCraic:
“I’ve never felt pain like it and I’ve had two kids naturally. I honestly thought that a ninja had been in the house overnight and had set up an obstacle course of booby traps. I was just coming into the living room to turn the telly down and without looking, I stood on the bricks. I’d taken my shoes off as I’d stood in dog crap the day before. The next thing I know, I’m almost on the ceiling with pain. It was like I’d been shot by a sniper. I fell to the floor in a very dramatic fashion and when I looked up, my two kids were just looking at me as if I was a lunatic. I called an ambulance and they took me to hospital as I was in agony.”
Husband Jim added:
“Jeez, she’s such a drama queen isn’t she? Last month, she stubbed her little toe on the sideboard and admitted herself to hospital for three weeks. I’m going down the pub. I’ve had enough of this rubbish.”
