Welsh spoof news writer runs out of ideas

The lead writer of a Welsh spoof news website has run out of ideas.

Editor of WalesOnCraic, Royston Butterscotch, ran out of ideas last night.

In a statement to the press, he said:

“For two and half years I’ve been writing this shit but the time has finally come where I’ve just run out of ideas. I’m usually up all hours of the night trying to think of funny stories to write but last night was the last straw. I couldn’t think of a single thing to write up. I climbed out of bed at 5am and realised that I’d run out of steam. Every writer has writer’s block but my head is totally blank. I turned on my PC this morning and sat staring at a blank screen for two hours. It’s terrible.”

WalesOnCraic was first launched in 2014 and draws millions of visitors to its site every year.

“It was good while it lasted but maybe the time has come for me to work in Tesco or something. At least that way I’ll be out of everyone’s hair and won’t have to bother anyone. I really don’t know what I’ve done with the last two and half years. Sigh.”
