Being Welsh officially recognised as a superpower

Posted on

Being Welsh has been officially recognised as a superpower by the leading world authority on superhuman abilities.

Being able to say Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, the ability to sing beautifully and being exceptionally good-looking helped cement the decision.

A spokesman for The Superpower Authority told WalesOnCraic:

“Being Welsh has long been recognised as one of the leading superpowers as a nation but it has often been overlooked in terms of individuals. Welsh people can sing, they’re beautiful to look at and they can also say long words that other nations may struggle to pronounce. We met up at an Extraordinary Meeting last night to decided whether actually being Welsh should be classified as a superpower and after several minutes, we decided that it was. Every Welsh person can therefore consider themselves as having a superpower, just like Superted or Batfink.”

One of the judges added:

“We watched an episode of Fireman Sam and were blown away by his bravery and lovely speaking voice. We therefore decided that all Welsh people should be classed as possessing superhuman powers – and that goes for the sheep too. The Welsh should be very proud of their new position in the world of superheroes.”
