A coach travel operator from Bargoed is offering day trips to Barnard Castle in County Durham.
Golden Coaches of Bargoed has said that they have had a lot of demand to visit the town, which has hit the headlines in the last few weeks.
Company director Gary Goldenballs told WalesOnCraic:
“We were forced to put our company into mothballs when the lockdown was first announced but now that government officials are leading the way out of it, we’ve been getting a lot of requests to visit Barnard Castle. I’d never heard of the place to be honest but was have to go with what our customers want. One of our more popular trips last year was to Pizza Express in Woking – you’d be surprised at the places that people want to visit.”
Golden Coaches will be putting on two special trips later in the week.
“We’ll be providing all our customers with a free alibi, and we expect them to act with integrity at all times,” said Goldenballs.
