A dry start to the day with big dollops of sunshine here and there. Cloud will bubble up throughout the afternoon though and southern areas can expect rain by nightfall. A maximum temperature of 12°C. Thursday is looking windy so be prepared.

Down on the farm, we are all still recovering from New Year’s Eve. Farmer Honey drank so much Skol that when he bashed his head on a mangle, he bled beer. He’s been in bed since. Mrs Honey was hoping for a night of passion but she’s still waiting.
