A rough start to the week with heavy showers, some thundery as well as strong-to-gale force winds at first. Both the rain and the wind will ease off as the morning progresses and some sunny spells brightening up the country before bedtime. Maximum temperature of 12°C.
Down on the farm, Farmer Honey’s already stocking up for his Bonfire Night bonanza. Pride of place is his Golden Fountain firework, which he hopes to impress the neighbours with later in the week. He says he’s hoping to put a smile on a few faces.
