Wales on course for another Grand Slam

Wales are on course for yet another Grand Slam after crushing Ireland in Cardiff this afternoon.

The mighty Irish were humbled by a ferocious Welsh team who could have scored more than 100 more points if had they scored them.

Speaking after the game, the Welsh team’s spokesperson, Thomas ‘Thomas’ Thomas, told WalesOnCraic:

“Well obviously the lads went out there today and obviously all credit to the Irish; we always said that they were going to be a tough team and obviously, we were lucky that that Irish lad got sent off and obviously I told the lads just to go out there and to enjoy themselve and I think that’s what they did and obviously, we’re going to take the positives of the game and move forward and we could have scored more points but we didn’t but obviously, we’ve still got more to work on and obviously, so yeah.”

Wales now lie third in this year’s Six Nations table but will most likely end up at the top by the end of the tournament.

“I’ve told the lads not to talk about the Grand Slam yet but it’s definitely on the cards,” added Thomas.
