Valleys murder victim unable to be identified after ‘DNA matches that of all the other villagers’

The identification of a valleys murder victim has ground to a halt after their DNA matched that of all the other villagers.

The body was discovered in the small village of Abertrussoch in the South Wales valleys yesterday morning by a local dogger. Police leading the investigation say that they have reached a dead end.

PC Plod, boss man at the local police station told WalesOnCraic:

“We’ve reach a point in the investigation where we can’t even identify the body. Sadly their DNA matches that of all the other people in the village and we don’t even have any dental records to go on. We are appealing to the public to help us.”

But local villager Dai ‘David’ Rees told WalesOnCraic:

“Aye butt, like butt innit like?”

The investigation continues.
