Two friends go for the coffee they’ve been talking about for the last 20 years

Two friends have gone for the coffee that they have been talking about for the last 20 years.

Mildred Goggins and Enid Bleckwith last went for coffee back in 1996. The pair have mentioned going for a coffee every few weeks since but it was only last month that they finally made it.

Mildred told WalesOnCraic:

“It was so nice to see Enid. I told her all about my new boyfriend and she seemed so excited by it all. We seemed to pick up where we left off 20 years ago and she was so thrilled to see me.”

Enid added:

“It was 20 years in the making and to be honest, it was a bit boring. Mildred and I have moved on since the last time we saw each other and to be quite honest, she bored me shitless. All she went on about was her ‘new’ boyfriend – I say ‘new’ but she met him 19 years ago. I didn’t have a chance to bore her with stories about myself so that’s the last time I’ll be suggesting going for a coffee with her. I’d rather drape my wet tits over an electric fence.”

The pair visited Grumpy Fuckers Coffee Shop in Gunt Street, Cardiff.
