Details of the planned Twin Town movie have been published after news of its delay last year.
The long-awaited sequel to Twin Town will see the Lewis twins having tea at respectable dining establishments, using glue to fix household crockery and driving a Ford Mondeo Ghia.
Superfan Dylan ‘Sticky Sticky’ Dickwad told WalesOnCraic:
“We’ve been pushing for a sequel for nearly 20 years now and it’s great to hear that the Lewis twins will feature in this new movie. I am a bit concerned that it won’t have the same flavour about it and I’m worried that it might resemble something like the Last of the Summer Wine. I’m also hoping that some of the original line up will return, especially Adie, Bonny and that woman in pink who works at the massage parlour.”
A spokesman for Twin Town tried to calm fears that the sequel won’t be as good as the original:
“We’ve got all the ingredients that made it such a hit in the first place – hot dogs, glue and cars. Now that the twins have grown up a little bit, we need to reflect that. Think of it as the version you’d want your mum to watch.”
