It has been revealed that esteemed actor Tom Hardy is undergoing training to work Barry Island’s Log Flume.
The dashing actor has been spotted at Barry Island several times this week, leading to speculation that he’s starting a new career at the Pleasure Park.
Showbiz correspondent Brenda Widethighs told WalesOnCraic:
“Oh boy, that man makes my ovaries moan. When I saw that he was over Barry Island, I instantly got in my Austin Allegro and bombed over there at 23mph. I staked out all night, hoping to see him but it wasn’t until the next day that I saw him. I followed him around the Pleasure Park, hiding behind the bins and candy floss stalls. I wanted to see what he was up to. I then saw him talking to the guy who operates the Log Flume. I can only deduce that Tom is therefore in training to take over the running of the ride. Obviously, it’s not the Log Flume that we all used to know and love. It’s a bit of a shitshow in all honesty. But it’ll be nice to know that the ride will be in Tom’s safe hands.”
Hardy became famous for his roles in a Batman film and another film where he drove a car down the M4.
