Riots have broken out at many schools in Wales as parents rush to get their kids back to school.
Full-blown fist fights broke out at many schools in South Wales and several schools in North Wales. Riot police were called in to restore order.
One mother told WalesOnCraic:
“I’ve been waiting two weeks for this day. I was up at 4am, making sure that they were ready but by the time I’d got to the school at 6, it seems every other mother had had the same idea of getting their little shits to school asap. Fists were flying and there was even one woman who turned up with a BB gun. It was carnage. All I wanted to do was get the little fuckers to school as soon as I could so I can finally sit and watch Jeremy Kyle with a packet of fags.”
Headteacher John Smartshoes said:
“It’s was fucking mental. I’ve never seen anything like it in my life. I’ve therefore decided that we’ll have another inset day soon to recover.”
