Rhyl man presents ‘deconstructed sandwich’ on TV’s Masterchef

A Rhyl man has presented a deconstructed sandwich as a dish on TV show Masterchef.

Trefor Bulge, 39, gave hosts John Torode and Gregg Wallace all the ingredients for a marinated ham and cheese laid out on a tray.

Masterchef judge Gregg told WalesOnCraic:

“The man’s a lazy twat. He just got everything out of the cupboard and put them on the tray. He even had the cheek to ask us to construct it for him. The worst thing was that he spent the hour and 15 minutes walking around annoying the other contestants. I’ve never seen such laziness in all my life.”

Trefor added:

“I was going to do a pan-fried sea bass but everyone was cooking them so I thought I’d go down the classic route. Everyone loves a marinated ham and cheese sandwich so I just lugged everything together on the tray and stuck it under their noses. The journey home was a lot quicker than I thought it was going to be too.”
