EU Remain campaigners are hoping to run a ‘best of three’ referendums to make sure that Britain really wants to leave.
Nearly half the voting public voted to remain in the EU. Sadly for them, more than half of the voting public decided to vote out.
One campaigner told WalesOnCraic:
“It’s not fair. That’s not the result we wanted. We want a best of three and if the results still come back as wanting to leave, we’ll push for a best of five. We won’t be happy until we get the result we want.”
Another campaigner added:
“Most of the people who voted Leave thought that they were actually looking to leave the Eurovision Song Contest. I for one, would like to stay in the Eurovision Song Contest because I like the drama of it all.”
