Portugal request tilting pitch to help them beat Wales

The Portuguese football team have formally requested a tilting pitch to help them beat Wales in their Euro semi-final.

The Portuguese, who come from Portugal, are hoping that the pitch will help them get to penalties where they feel they have a chance of winning.

Spokesman Ronaldo Rotundo told WalesOnCraic:

“These-a boys-a. We-a never hear of them until now-a. Where is Wales? Is it-a next to England, huh? We a-watch-a the Wales games and feel that they-a pretty good, you know? So we’ve asked for a tilting pitch to help us, you know.”

Dai Lingual, spokesman for the Welsh team said:

“Well obviously, the boys have gone out there today and given it 100% and obviously, we’ll take the positives from the game and take each game as it comes and obviously, all credit to the other side, they came out here today and gave it 100% but all credit to our boys who’ve gone out there and enjoyed the game and obviously, we’ll take the positives from the game and take each game as it comes.”

The tilting pitch is not expected to derail Wales’s ambition of reaching the Euros final.
