National Teabagging Day postponed

This year’s annual Teabagging Day has been postponed due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.

Women across the nation are said to be devastated at the news, especially since a new date has not been announced.

One woman, who didn’t want to be named, told WalesOnCraic:

“I loves getting a good teabagging me. I’m absolutely gutted and I know my fella will too. It’s the only day of the year when we can do it and this bloody coronavirus has caused havoc with our lives. It’s something I’ve been looking for for months now. I even put it on the calendar over Christmas. I feel cheated and robbed now. It’s like all my Christmases have been cancelled.”

This year’s National Teabagging Day was due to take place in June, shortly after the Queen’s birthday. Organisers say that they can’t plan a new date until the know when social distancing can end.

Organiser Jimmy Hotballs said:

“It’s no good us arranging a special day like this if we’re all wearing face masks. As soon as we have more information about the exit strategy, we’ll announce a new date.”
