Man sues weather presenters for broken promises of an Indian Summer

A man from Pwllheli is suing weather presenters for a string of broken promises.

Cedric WideArse said that he’d wasted £30 on a barbeque set after one weather presenter said that Wales was expected to have an Indian Summer back in March.

Cedric told WalesOnCraic:

“I went down Kwik Save especially to buy this barbeque set. I had grand visions of me sitting out in my garden, getting shit-faced and eating bits of dead animal. As it’s turned out, I haven’t been able to get out into the garden once to do that. I foolishly believed this weather presenter when he told me that we were going have an Indian Summer. I feel such a fool. I’ve since spoken to my solicitor and he said that if I give him £5,000, he’ll sue the weather presenter. I’ve decided to go ahead with this, even though it means that I have to sell my house.”

A spokeswoman for the people who do weather presenting said:

“He can go whistle if he thinks he’s getting a penny off us. We’re very busy people and we don’t get it right all the time. Or some of the time.”
