Man gets punched in face after asking for decking in B&Q
A man has been punched in the face after he asked a member of staff for decking.
Gordon TwoPlanks visited his local B&Q in Cardiff yesterday to get himself some garden decking.
He told WalesOnCraic:
“My wife’s been on at me for months to sort the garden out. I’ve been really busy watching telly and stuff so I haven’t had time to get it done. But yesterday, I thought I’d head down to B&Q and sort it out. All I did was walk up to the B&Q guy and say ‘I need decking’ and the next thing I know, I’m being carted off to hospital with a broken nose. That’s the last time I go there for anything. I usually get my Christmas trees from there but I’ll be going elsewhere this year.”
A spokesman for B&Q said:
“We apologise on behalf of our new member of staff. He was trying to be helpful but obviously misjudged our customer’s request.”
