Magic house-cleaning fairies facing backlog after summer holidays
Magic house-cleaning fairies across Wales are facing an unprecedented backlog as the school summer holidays draw to a close.
Homes across the nation could be left with messy rooms for up to 3 months as the fairies struggle with the backlogs.
One father told WalesOnCraic:
“I’m really disappointed to hear this news. Things have been building up all summer – toys here, there and everywhere. It’s not nice for me when I come back from the pub and trip over a My Little Pony, which is what I did last night. I want a clean kitchen to eat my kebab in but these fairies have really been slacking. It’s like they don’t care any more.”
One fairy, who didn’t want to be named said:
“The work is getting too much for us. It gets worse year on year but this year has been a real killer. I can’t see myself clearing my backlog until at least November, by which time, I’ll be getting houses ready for Christmas. I give up.”
