Lucky underwear sales have seen a dramatic rise ahead of Sunday’s Rugby World Cup semi-final.
Welsh fans are trying any methods possible to guarantee a Welsh win.
One fan told WalesOnCraic:
“I’ve got a lucky pair of grits that I’ve had for years. I’ve never washed them because I’m afraid that I’ll wash all the luck juice off them. I wore them when I met my now girlfriend and I also wore them all the way through this year’s Six Nations. I have however, gone out and bought a new pair, in case I have to put them on at half time and if Wales need a little lift.”
Another fan said:
“I’ve been wearing my lucky pants since January and so far I’ve won £10 on a scratchcard and £30 at bingo. They’re working wonders but I’ve got myself some new ones as this is such a big game.”
Retailers say that sales have gone through the roof, but have also stressed that they won’t be accepting skiddy returns if Wales crash out.
