Lorry uses entire M4 motorway to overtake other lorry

A lorry driver has used the entire M4 motorway to overtake another lorry heading the same way.

Reggie WideArse began overtaking a second lorry as he joined the M4 in London. He finally managed to complete the manoeuvre at Pont Abraham service station in West Wales.

Reggie told WalesOnCraic:

“He was going a bit slow so I thought I’d get in front of him. I indicated and put my foot down. It was only then that I remembered that my vehicle was limited to 57mph. Unfortunately, the lorry I was trying to overtake was also limited to 57mph. We went up a few hills together and I thought that I’d be able to use my superior engine but that never worked. Then we went down a hill and I thought that my superior aerodynamics would mean that I got past him. Sadly, that wasn’t the case either. The only time we separated was at the Severn Bridge but we soon found ourselves back in the same position. In all, it took about 4 and a half hours to overtake him. All he had to do was slow down.”

The other driver added:

“I wasn’t letting that bastard get past me. I wasn’t letting him take my pride.”
