Lizz Truss to open new pork markets in Wales

Newly-appointed Prime Minister Liz Truss has announced that she would like to see new pork markets opening up in Wales.

The move follows Truss’s drive to import less than the current two-thirds of the UK’s cheese, which she says, is a disgrace.

A spokesperson for Downing Street told WalesOnCraic:

“Liz is very keen to see pork markets opening up in Wales. Wales is considered the land of song and sheep but it also needs more dead pigs in it, chopped up and served on platters for people to eat. The new PM would like a pork market in each town and city in Wales, to emulate the way that they’ve been opened up in China.

“This government would also like to do something about our current cheese imports. Our manufacturing culture has totally collapsed in recent years and we’d like to see more British people making more British cheese.”

Truss plans to name each Welsh pork market after each of Boris Johnsons 164 children.
