Ireland sneak lucky win over Wales in Dublin

Ireland have snuck a lucky win over Wales in this year’s Six Nations opener.

Wales always looked like winning but fell away after a large number of lucky tries and penalties from the men in green.

Speaking after the game, Welsh coach Wayne Pivac told WalesOnCraic:

“Obviously the boys went out there today and obviously I told them to enjoy themselves and obviously we’ll take the positives from this game and obviously we’ll take each game as it comes and obviously, we’ll look to improve on some of the areas that we need to work on and all credit to the Irish and obviously, the Irish were counting on their luck and obviously, we’ll take the win and obviously, all credit to Ireland.”

Wales now need to win all remaining four games, plus go back in time to win the game that they lost today, to be in with a chance of winning another Grand Slam.
