Iain Duncan Smith to start new career as Zumba instructor in Barry

Former Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, Iain Duncan Smith, is to start a new career as a Zumba teacher in Barry.

That’s according to Zumba leader to the stars, Giles Smallballs.

Smallballs, who runs Zumba classes at Coconuts softplay hall in Barry told WalesOnCraic:

“I nearly fell off my chair when the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions handed his notice in. He says he couldn’t stand by and watch cuts for the disabled be pushed through Parliament but we all know that IDS has a keen interest in Zumba and I think that’s where this is coming from. We are opening up a new class on Thursday mornings and what I’m thinking is getting Jeremy Clarkson to cover the Wednesday class and Mike Phillips to switch to Fridays so that he can rehearse for his panto. It’d be good to have a former Cabinet Minister in the ranks because erm…not sure really but it’d be nice. I’d quite like Portillo to come join us one day. He has a wonderful speaking voice and a beautiful face that I’d like to sit on. Sorry. Did I say that out loud?”

Iain Duncan Smith is currently seeking work and is seeking his Universal Credit as outlined by the man himself several years ago.
